Reviewers' Duties

At Elicit Publishing House, our commitment to unveiling latent knowledge and fostering innovation is reflected in the rigorous and ethical review process we uphold. Reviewers play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and novelty of our publications. Their duties include:

  1. Confidentiality
Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of all information pertaining to submitted manuscripts. No details should be disclosed to individuals outside the review process, ensuring the integrity of the evaluation.

  2. Impartial and Objective Evaluation
Reviews should be conducted with complete impartiality, focusing exclusively on the manuscript’s academic merit, originality, and relevance. Personal biases or criticism directed at the author must be strictly avoided.

  3. Constructive and Evidence-Based Feedback
Reviewers are expected to provide detailed, well-reasoned feedback aimed at improving the manuscript. Suggestions should be constructive, clearly articulated, and supported by relevant evidence or rationale.

  4. Identification of Missing References
To uphold scholarly completeness, reviewers should identify any significant references or published works that are missing from the manuscript. This ensures comprehensive and accurate citation practices.

  5. Reporting Overlaps or Similarities
If any notable overlap or similarity is detected between the submitted manuscript and existing published works, reviewers must promptly inform the Editor-in-Chief. Transparency in such matters preserves academic integrity.

  6. Avoidance of Conflicts of Interest
Reviewers must recuse themselves from evaluating manuscripts if they have any competitive, collaborative, or personal relationships with the authors, affiliated institutions, or entities involved. Declaring conflicts of interest safeguards the objectivity of the review process.

Elicit Publishing House values reviewers’ dedication to uncovering and refining hidden knowledge for the benefit of the academic community and society at large. Through their commitment, our publications continue to drive innovation and excellence.
